A basic assumption of this course

Before we describe the layout of the course let's just repeat the underlying assumption of the course, which is that the Bible is the wholly inspired Word of God. This means that God caused the Bible to be written and every word of it is important. This is the position taken by the Lord Jesus Christ:-

He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.' " Matt 4:4

and we believe that it is only with this same attitude that we can learn to read the Bible effectively.
